37 weeks equals full term...

We have made it to full term, how exciting is that. As each day goes by I get more and more nervous and excited to finally be a mommy. I hope I can be the best mom ever and teach Presley the right things.

How far along: 37 weeks
How Big: Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard).

Weight Gain: Weighed in last Tuesday and I have gained 37 pounds. :(
Stretch Marks: yes on my tummy and now my sides
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, alot of maternity shirts
Sleep: this tummy is way to big, cant get comfy
Symptoms: nothing honestly, don't mind being pregnant right now, minus the heat.
Best Moment this Week: hitting full term. whoot whoot
Food Cravings: nothing really this week its way to hot to think about food

Food dislikes: frozen meals still and always has been through this whole pregnancy
Gender: Girl still. my little princess
Movement: yes, you can tell she has no room in there and when she gets uncomfy she freaks out and moves her legs and arms at the same time
What I miss: wearing my normal spring and summer clothes
Belly Button: still normal :)
What I am looking forward to: holding her in my arms
Milestone:  Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, her lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long.

I'm a slacker. 34, 35, 36 weeks...

Oh man I'm such a slacker. I'm sorry everyone! I will try to get better I promise. Anyways here is week 34, 35, and 36 combined.

34 weeks  35 weeks 36 weeks
How far along: 36 weeks tomorrow
How Big:
34 weeks: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long.

35 weeks: Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon)

36 weeks: Your baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. She now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long.

Weight Gain: Got weighed yesterday and I'm up to 38 pounds total. :(
Stretch Marks: yes tummy, sides, and thighs
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, mostly all maternity shirts too
Sleep: depends on the night, its not that she keeps me up, its that I'm getting so big and can't sleep on my tummy
Symptoms: contractions off and on. We had a scare on Tuesday, May 22nd, but we are okay now.
Best Moment this Week: That we are now on weekly appointments
Food Cravings:Panda again

Food dislikes: frozen meals still, and I think will cont to be.
Gender: Girl
Movement: yes all day long. :)
What I miss: I would have to say being able to wear my cute spring clothes
Belly Button: slowly coming up, not sticking out yet
What I am looking forward to: just being at 37 weeks knowing if she comes we are in the clear
Milestone:
34 weeks: Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well.
35 weeks: Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.
36 weeks: She's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered her body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected her skin during her nine-month amniotic bath. Your baby swallows both of these substances, along with other secretions, resulting in a blackish mixture, called meconium, will form the contents of her first bowel movement.

This was me at 35 weeks and 2 days...

33 Weeks and 5 days...

Oh man I have slacked big time this week. Normally Im not this late on updating the blog. Plus I haven't taken a picture in a few weeks either. I need to do that for sure at 34 weeks. Anyways..... things have been going much better. Presley's room is coming along, hopefully it will be all done before she get here. I had my first baby shower on Saturday that my neighbor did. It was really nice and Presley got some cute stuff. We have 3 more baby showers coming up one on the 19th of May, June 2nd, and June 9th. We will be full term on June 2nd. Crazy huh? That's only like 3 weeks and 2 days away. So we went to the doctor today and Presley has rotated down waiting to come into this crazy world of ours. So all those kicks I have been feeling just below my ribs is her feet. What a stinker. I was released from physical therapy on Tuesday they think that my SI joint rolled back when Presley was making her rotation, because all of a sudden on Sunday/Monday this week I have felt AMAZING! So no more walking with a waddle, thank goodness. Tonight is our last 3rd trimester class and honestly both Robb and I are sad its already over. We have had some good times in that class, we sure will miss going every Thursday night. So anyways....here is the weekly update.

How far along: 33 weeks and 5 days
How Big: This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark

Weight Gain: Got weighed today and I have gained 36 pounds total :(
Stretch Marks: yes on my tummy :(
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, alot of maternity shirts
Sleep: hasnt been to bad. Presley is sleeping through the night, so she hasnt been waking me up
Symptoms: nothing honestly, don't mind being pregnant right now, minus the heat.
Best Moment this Week: I would have to say it was today when I got to see my little girl for a bit in the Ultrasound
Food Cravings: Arby's fries and chocolate shake

Food dislikes: frozen meals still, and I think will cont to be.
Gender: Girl
Movement: yes all day long. :)
What I miss: being able to do things on my own without asking for help
Belly Button: still normal :)
What I am looking forward to: holding her in my arms
Milestone:  She's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and her skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal

Emotions and 31 weeks and 3 days..

Hey everyone, its that time of the week to update my blog with the weekly growth of Presley. Before I do that I just wanted to blog for a bit about how I'm doing. My emotions this week are crazy, they are getting the best of me. I'm so dang emotional that it sucks, and all I do is cry. I feel like I'm getting very depressed and that I don't want to do anything. Presley's room is still not done. Robb's Granny wanted the room done so that when she gets here on May 1st she can check it out, however thats not going to happen, since thats only a week away. I really wanted Presley's room to be done way before now and Robb still has so much more to do in there. My first baby shower is on May 5th. I'm not going to have anywhere to put her new stuff since her room isn't done. I think this has lots to do with me starting to get depressed. We only have 60 more days until her due date. I'm scared that her room won't be done before she gets here. Besides her room, work is getting a bit scary as well. We are slowly running out of work again like it did in January. Even though it hasnt happened yet, I'm getting a bit nervous which is making me stressed out. Anyways... thats how I have been feeling lately. Hopefully it gets better soon cause I dont know how much of this I can handle.

How far along: 31 weeks and 3 days
How Big: This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt.

Weight Gain: 30lbs total, go back to the doctor on Thursday
Stretch Marks: yes on my tummy :(
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, alot of maternity shirts
Sleep: same as last week
Symptoms: tired all the time again. all i want to do is sleep
Best Moment this Week: drywall, mudding, and sanding is all done. Still have tons to do
Food Cravings: turkey sandwhich
Food dislikes: frozen meals still, and I think will cont to be.
Gender: Girl
Movement: all the time, i dont think she ever stops. LOL
What I miss: I miss having engery, I feel like I'm always so exhausted
Belly Button: still normal :)
What I am looking forward to: having Presley's room done and being able to hold her in my arms for the first time
Milestone: She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin.

30 weeks and 2 days...

68 more days, are you kidding me. Thats it only 68 more days until Presley's due date. Holy crap, I'm getting nervous!

How far along: 30 weeks and 2 days
How Big: Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage).

Weight Gain: 30lbs total
Stretch Marks: yes on my tummy :(
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, alot of maternity shirts
Sleep: this week hasnt been so great, I cant get comfy
Symptoms: tired all the time again. all i want to do is sleep

Food Cravings: slurpees

Food dislikes: frozen meals still, and I think will cont to be.
Gender: Girl still
Movement: all the time, its funny how she moves
What I miss: I miss having engery, I feel like I'm always so exhausted
Belly Button: still normal :)
What I am looking forward to: having Presley's room done and being able to hold her in my arms for the first time
Milestone: A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)
