Ultrasound and another appointment....

So yesterday was our half way ultrasound were they do all the measurements of the baby, and check to make sure everything is growing correctly. Oh and this appointment is when most women find out the sex of their baby. However we already knew but we had them double check anyways. Everything looked great and she's still a girl. Presley was being a little stinker and not wanting them to look at her heart, so our appointment was longer then normal, however they were able to get her to stop for a bit to look at it to make sure it had the 4 chambers. Her heartbeat was at 155 yesterday, beating very healthy. The doctor said that from her measurements she is measuring a week smaller then what we have her due date out. He said from her measurements he would but the due date at June 29th. Thats the third due date I have gotten from this pregnancy. The first was June 27th when we had our first ultrasound, second ultrasound bumped it up to June 23rd, and now he says it should be June 29th. So pretty much from what he was saying I dont have a due date I have a due week anytime from June 23rd to June 29th. So today we went in to see our OBGYN Dr. Ponder and she said everything looked great and since I'm tiny the baby is going to measure tiny so we have nothing to worry about and she wants to keep our due date at June 23rd. We took my weight (I have gained a total of 12 pounds since our first appointment on December 8th) and we measured my tummy and I'm right on track at were I should be. So everything turned out good. We got back to Dr. Ponder on the 28th of February, however before that we are going to Fetal Foto on the 23rd.

Here are some photos from the Ultrasound.

19 weeks and 2 days...

How far along: 19 weeks and 2 days
How Big:  Presley is about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom. About the size of a large heirloom tomato

Weight Gain: yes, I get weighed at the doctor tomorrow afternoon, I'm guessing about a total of 10 pounds gained
Stretch Marks: Nothing that I can see yet
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, some maternity shirts
Sleep: Not so great, can't find a good way to lay to be comfortable
Symptoms: Nothing this week. :)
Best Moment this Week: Getting stuff done in Presley's room, bought her some more clothes, oh and some really cute headbands
Food Cravings: Chocolate Milk

Food dislikes: frozen meals still, I think that will always be my dislike through this pregnancy
Gender: Girl still! :), hopefully at our ultrasound today they dont see anything different
Movement: Not so much butterflies anymore. Its more like I can feel her move from side to side. Robb still can't feel her. I can't wait until he can.
What I miss: being able to go to a bar and not have everyone look at me odd
Belly Button: still normal
What I am looking forward to: Our halfway ultrasound today, doctors appointment tomorrow, and some time off from work in the next few weeks. Oh and another fetal foto appointment Feb. 23rd
Milestone: Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Nursery....

Presley,

Daddy and Mommy started working on your nursery this weekend and man was that a mess. We are making your closet bigger, so we started taking out the old closet. Well we had an issue when we did that. For some crazy reason there was a water line/pipe in one of the small walls we were taking out and Daddy didnt know there was one there and he cut through the pipe and water went everywhere. It flooded your room and messed up some of the new drywall we just put in. So now we have to re-do all of that drywall and move the water line into the main wall. I'm so lucky that I have your daddy who knows how to fix everything because your mommy was freaking out and not knowing what to do to get the water to stop spraying everywhere. Everything is going to work out, it's going to take a little bit longer to get things done in your nursery then we planned. However don't worry it will be done before you get here. Your nursery is going to be AMAZING!!!! Mommy has chosen to do your room in Hot Pink and Black. I sure hope you will like it!

As well this weekend you found a new place to hide and its just below your mommy's ribs. It hurt so bad. Mommy was doing dishes and when you decided to hide there. I thought I was going to die. I was having a hard time breathing. Mommy stopped doing the dishes and sat on this Kitchen floor in tears. I had no idea what you were doing to me. Thank gosh mommy has amazing friends who knew what you were doing and they told me what I needed to do to get you to move away from my ribs. You are going to be a little stinker beating your Mommy up. I don't handle pain to well, so try to be nice.

I love you sweet thing, we only have 23 more weeks until you are due!

Fetal Fotos and the sex of Baby Feltch...

So on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at 6:30pm Robb and I went to Fetal Fotos to find out the gender of our baby. This was the best experience ever and I'm so thankful that we are able to have this experience in our life. I was so excited for the appointment and couldn't stop talking about it. As Robb and I were driving to the appointment I got so nervous and scared. I kept thinking to myself what if something is wrong with Baby Feltch and she isnt moving, or what if its to early to see if Baby Feltch is a boy or a girl. Every emotion went through my mind, just like the day I look that pregnancy test. As I laid down on the bed all those emotions went away. I was feeling nothing, I honestly was blank. As the ultrasound began seeing our little stinker up on the screen I couldnt believe how big Baby Feltch has gotten, as the ultrasound went on and they were able to start the 4D and I saw Baby Feltch's face I started to cry, it was the best feeling in the world. I couldn't believe thats what I ahve inside me. The love for Baby Feltch grew even stonger. I love Baby Feltch so much, I never knew I could love something so much and I havent even been able to touch it. As the Ultrasound went on I was looking at Robb across the room his back towards me looking up at the screen I see him wipe away some tears, it was the cutest thing ever. Bay Feltch was being so dramatic with its arms moving all over the place. Honestly it looked like Baby Feltch was trying to tell us a story. From the moment I knew for sure what we were having, however I didnt say anything. We were having a hard time being able to get a picture of Baby Feltch's sex because (he/she) kept their legs crossed pretty much the whole time. The nurse had to push on my stomach several times to get its legs open. I kept saying come on little stinker we want to see what you are. Finally Baby Feltch opened up its legs just for a few seconds long enough to snap a picture of their "goods" before the legs went back to being crossed. The nurse explained everything on the picture what it was and where it was at as she told us it was a girl. I honestly felt like my heart jumped out of my chest I was so damn happy, because I had a feeling it was a girl and every test we have taken said it was a girl. I would of been happy either way, but man it was nice to finally know what Baby Feltch was. The nurse asked if there was anything else we wanted to see and I said as long as we are 100% sure on the sex I'm fine. The nurse said she was ver postive we were having a little girl. So now Baby Feltch is no longer going to be referred as Baby Feltch. We can official start calling her "Presley Afton Feltch"
