The first REAL kick and 23 weeks 2 days...

So Saturday evening I was laying on the couch watching movies when I felt Presley moving around (the most I ever have for a long period of time). So I decided to place my hands on my tummy so I can feel the movements when all of a sudden I feel this big kick on my left hand. It was crazy, she kicked so hard my hand moved so I yelled for Robb to come feel her and once he put his hand on my tummy she stopped moving. That little stinker I want her daddy to be able to feel her. Maybe next time.

Anyways.... here is our weekly update.....

How far along: 23 weeks and 2 days
How Big: she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound about as much as a large mango

Weight Gain: yes, I have gained 18 pounds that I know of since my first weigh in on December 8th, 2011, I go back in tomorrow, hopefully not to much more.
Stretch Marks: Nothing that I can see yet
Maternity Clothes: all pants now, some maternity shirts
Sleep: Sleep has been pretty good this week, she's been letting her mommy sleep at night.
Symptoms: heartburn and headaches
Best Moment this Week: was able to see my baby girl for a little bit at fetal fotos however she was sleeping. Found out she sleeps like her mommmy
Food Cravings: Sweet tart Gummies. YUMMY

Food dislikes: frozen meals still, I think that will always be my dislike through this pregnancy
Gender: Girl still, we had them check again at fetal fotos.
Movement: oh yeah I feel her kicking or punching about half the time to almost every time she moves.
What I miss: this week its beer again, hung out with friends and family Sunday for the Daytona 500, and they were all drinking and I so wanted to have a beer
Belly Button: still normal
What I am looking forward to: going back to fetal fotos in 2-3 weeks, hopefully she wont be sleeping when we go
Milestone:  Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.
